The Coves of Harbor Springs is the condominium community of Harbor Springs and is located on the South East side of Aurora and just West of Route 59. We are convenient to Metra, Westfield Mall (formely Fox Valley Mall) and many other shopping malls. The Park District is Fox Valley Park District (the 3rd largest park district in the State of Illinois) with a population of 1,978,899 (per the 2010 U.S. Census), the City of Aurora is the 2nd largest city in the State of Illinois.

Garbage:
Our garbage pickup day is on Thursday with the exception of the following
holidays, in which case garbage will be delayed by one day (Friday). Those
holidays are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas. Garbage may not be put out until 7 PM the night
before pickup and empty cans must be taken back inside by 7 PM the evening of
the pickup day. Garbage and recycle containers must be placed on one side of the
driveway and not on the Lawn.
Optional Cart Program:
Garbage cans may not exceed 32 gallons or 60# in weight, LEVEL FULL and may
use a sticker available at most groceries stores and hardware stores. Sticker costs
are currently $2.60 each.
Residents who generate low volumes of waste, 13 gallon preprinted garbage bags
that do not require a waste sticker can be purchased in rolls of 20 from the same
vendors that sell waste stickers.
Residents who generate more than 1 can or bag of waste per week may wish to
consider Allied Waste's optional "Cart Program". Cart users do not need to
purchase stickers for their waste. Simply place all your waste into your cart and
roll out on pickup day. Cart monthly fees are currently: 65 gallon cart - $15
monthly or 95 gallon cart for $18.25 per month.
Yard Waste:
Waste must be in a 30 gallon yard waste bag along with a waste sticker (certain times
during the Spring and Fall the City will allow spring clean-up with no sticker, check
with the City of Aurora for those dates).
Recycling Bins -
Recycling bins are available from the City of Aurora.
Bulk Items (Furniture, etc.) -
Each bulk item must have a yard waste sticker on it. No waste items will be
collected in boxes and all boxes must be broken down.
City Pet Licenses:
It is the law that dogs & cats must be licensed in Aurora!

Note that the City has a limit of four (4) domestic animals per household (two dogs

Mailbox Locks:
If the lock on your mailbox is broken or your key is lost, contact the Post Office
as they will replace the lock for a fee of $35.00. Note that you will have to
go to the Post Office to pick up the new key once the lock has been replaced!
Watering Restrictions:
Coves of Harbor Springs Owners are required to water their lawns. Hoses may be kept
out of sight or in a container at the side of your front stoop. The City of Aurora permits
resident to water lawns between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Residents with an odd last digit in their street address are allowed to water lawns on
odd calendar days; and the same rule applies for even addresses on even calendar days.
